An advert for a wagering firm seen on the dating app Tinder has actually been prohibited for linking gambling to sexual success.
The ad for William Hill, which was sent as a message to users, read: "Stuck in the pal zone? You will not be for much longer if you use this Cheltenham [horse racing] complimentary bet bet9ja's welcome offer."

But the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) said it needs to not appear once again in its existing type.
It said that, according to marketing guidelines, gambling advertisements need to not connect wagering to "seduction, sexual success or enhanced appearance".
"We thought about that the text ... recommended that those who gambled would be most likely to develop a friendship into a sexual relationship and therefore connected gaming with sexual success," it said.

William Hill initially safeguarded the March advert after a customer complained.
The firm stated clients who signed up would "participate in a relationship with William Hill", and the advert was expected to relate this to the nature of the yohaig code business they were marketing on - Tinder.

Tinder meanwhile said it had examined the advertisement before publishing it, finding it was not socially irresponsible, offending or targeting minors.
'Speechless'

Campaigners have actually been requiring harder guideline of betting advertising.
One, the Bishop of St Albans, Dr Alan Smith, stated he was "left speechless" by ads like William Hill's.
"The gaming industry's approach to self-regulation appears farcical as more of these adverts are exposed. I fear some wagering companies are now running under a 'don't get caught' mentality.
"The ASA's robust action need to be a wake-up call to the market."
