Longtime NJBIA member Saiber LLC on Tuesday announced the addition of Marc D. Freedman as member and Steven M. Friedland as counsel in a relocation that strengthens the Florham Park law office's Business Services and Employment practices.

This strategic expansion reflects Saiber's commitment to strengthening its corporate and M&An abilities, with a specific concentrate on industry-specific services for customers in the staffing sector and beyond.

Both attorneys sign up with Saiber from the shop company Freedman & Friedland LLC of Hasbrouck Heights, bringing decades of experience in corporate and employment law, especially within the staffing market.

Freedman, an experienced business attorney, signs up with the company's Business Services group as a member. With a substantial background in employment and business law and mergers & acquisitions, he brings deep understanding of the legal and company concerns affecting staffing business and other industries.

He previously worked as and senior executive officer for among the biggest public business in the temporary work sector. His wide-ranging experience consists of corporate acquisitions, securities compliance, labor relations, safeguarding companies in discrimination matters and class actions, limiting covenant lawsuits, threat management, and strategic consulting for senior executives.

Freedman is presently general counsel to the New Jersey Staffing Alliance and formerly served in comparable roles with national staffing associations.

Friedland will sign up with the firm as counsel in the Litigation practice group. With a concentrate on work law and litigation, he brings over 20 years of experience safeguarding companies in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour matters before federal and state courts and administrative agencies, as well as representing businesses in business litigation.

He also routinely counsels clients on daily office matters and drafts various contracts, policies, and compliance materials. Previously, Friedland practiced employment and labor law at two companies with a national existence.
